Mary J. Blige could sing the phone book and make it sound like a Grammy-worthy ballad. And recently, she’s experimented with rock classics by U2 and Led Zeppelin, and managed to brilliantly make them all her own. So it comes as no surprise that she was tapped to appear in the upcoming film adaptation of Rock of Ages.
